Why Upgrade Your Consumer Unit?
Modern homes place greater demands on their electrical installations than ever before. Upgrading to a modern consumer unit can provide individual RCBO protection, Type A residual-current protection and surge protection, helping to improve safety and reduce unwanted tripping. Modern domestic consumer units also use non-combustible enclosures, typically steel, designed to help limit the spread of fire originating within the consumer unit.
Reduced Nuisance Tripping
Individual RCBOs prevent a fault or leakage on one circuit affecting the whole house.
Type A Protection
Detects both AC and pulsating DC residual currents from modern electronic equipment.
Surge Protection
Helps protect sensitive electrical equipment from transient overvoltages and power surges.
A Safer, Modern Home
Modern circuit protection providing improved safety, fault isolation and peace of mind.
